The top end of Brixton Hill reaches Streatham parish, and so this church, built in 1871, was known as Streatham Hill Congregational Church. It was demolished in the 1980s and the new Brixton Hill United Reform Church was built on this site. |

The fine iron and glass canopies enabled shoppers to arrive in their motor cars and proceed under cover to the shops. The number of parked cars at this early date indicates a wealthy clientele. |
